Yesterday in Boone County Court, lawyers for 18-year-old Keiner Asprilla waived a formal arraignment and entered a plea of not guilty for the former MU basketball recruit from New Jersey who has been charged with first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy and second-degree kidnapping.

While on a recruiting visit to MU in September of 2023 , Asprilla is alleged to have raped someone three times in a room at the Tiger Hotel in Columbia, according to court documents.
