An Auxvasse teen is recovering from serious injuries after a one-vehicle accident in Callaway County during morning hours of Sunday, Apr. 13, 2025.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report, the 15-year-old boy was an occupant in a 1998 GMC Sonoma on eastbound I-70 at the 152 mile marker just before 8 a.m., when the truck went off the road, flipped over, and hit an embankment.

The teen was taken to University Hospital for treatment.
