Kayley and Michael Birnbaum both have hearings scheduled for later today in Benton County Court. They are two, of the now three suspects, in the 2021 murder of a Columbia man.

The couple pled not guilty last month to charges of first-degree murder and armed criminal action in connection to the death of 28-year-old Cody Garrett.

Garrett was reported missing in mid-June of 2021, after he was supposed to meet the two near Warsaw to go shooting.
