A Sunday night accident in Gasconade County has left one teenager dead, and three others with serious injuries. The single vehicle accident occurred at 9:15pm, on County Road of 4th street, just north of County Road Pam Lane.
A 2007 Jeep Liberty was southbound when it traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck three mailboxes, a utility pole and a driveway embankment.
The vehicle then became airborne and ejected all of the occupants upon hitting the ground.
A 17-year-old male from Bland was dead at the scene. The 26-year-old male driver, from Belle, a 37-year-old male occupant from Bland and a 22-year old occupant from Belle were all seriously injured. The 22 year old was air lifted to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, while the others were taken to Mercy Hospital in Washington.
