
A Moberly man suspected of killing 23-year-old Bailey Scott appeared in court Monday. The judge announced further proceedings and a bond hearing for David K. Heyde of Moberly will be held on July 21 at 1:30 p.m.
Heyde, 68, is charged with second-degree murder after Scott was shot and killed in Moberly on July 6. Heyde had an arraignment hearing at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Huntsville at the Randolph County Courthouse.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Heyde was arrested and taken to the Randolph County Jail on Thursday. He was moved to the Macon County Jail and is being held without bond, according to online court records.
