A two-vehicle, head-on collision, on Sunday has left a Boonville man seriously injured.

The accident happened on Route B at Doyle Road about 4:15 pm.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the crash happened when a 29-year-old Rocheport man, driving a 2021 Ford F-150 southbound, crossed the center of the road to avoid a stopped vehicle. He hit the 67-year-old Boonville man, driving a northbound 2010 Chrysler Town and Country minivan, head on.

The man was taken by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia.
