A federal grand jury in Jefferson City has returned an indictment charging a 25-year-old Semaj R. Clark, of Columbia, with illegal possession of a firearm after a prior felony conviction.

Clark, was says that on Aug. 10, 2025, Clark possessed a Taurus G3 9mm handgun in Boone County. Clark has a prior felony conviction for domestic assault and is therefore prohibited from possessing a firearm under federal law.
