The City of Columbia is inviting residents to learn how to stay safe this Thanksgiving.

The Columbia Fire Department will host a Thanksgiving fire safety presentation this Wednesday, November 19, at its Training Academy on Big Bear Boulevard.

The event runs from noon to 1 p.m. and will include a short presentation from firefighters, followed by a live safety demonstration.

This session is part of the city’s new Community Classroom series, designed to help residents connect with local departments and learn about public safety and city services.
