A 27-year-old Columbia man was seriously injured in a Howard County motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon. The accident occurred at 4pm on Route A at Howard County Road 122.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the man was riding a 2001 Honda Shadow southbound when the bike exited the right side of the road, became airborne, hit a fence and overturned.

The man was life-flighted to University Hospital in Columbia.
