Columbia Regional Airport is adding more flights. COU announced today that new flights to Charlotte by American Airlines will begin on June 4, of next year.

American Airlines will offer nonstop flights from Columbia Regional to Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT).

This new route enables mid-Missouri travelers to reach more than 300 global destinations with just one connection, and complements existing American service from COU to Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).

“We’re thrilled to grow our partnership with American Airlines, bringing even more travel options to our community,” said City Manager De’Carlon Seewood.

Reservations for flights are available for booking beginning Dec, 22, 2025, at aa.com or through American’s mobile app.
