Columbia Woman Charged After Road Rage Gun Incident

A Columbia woman faces three charges after an alleged road rage incident involving a gun.

Police say 35-year-old Candice Michelle Robinson is charged with armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon, and fourth-degree assault.

Investigators say the incident happened Sunday afternoon on the I-70 off-ramp at Creasy Springs Road.

A man told officers Robinson’s Hyundai cut him off in traffic and later, someone inside pointed a gun at him through the passenger window.

Police stopped a matching vehicle soon after and found a loaded firearm inside.

A $10,000 bond was set for Robinson, according to online court records.
