The Columbia Police Department has issued an Endangered Person Advisory for a missing person incident that occurred yesterday (Sunday) at 11pm at 3001 South Providence Road.

Missing is 75-year-old Philip Walter McWhorter. He’s a white, male, 5’06”, 160 lbs, white hair, brown eyes, wearing a blue jacket over a sweatshirt, Levi’s, and tennis shoes.

The subject was last seen walking his dog toward Nifong Boulevard on South Providence Road. The subject suffers from a heart condition.

Anyone seeing the missing person, or having information related to the endangered missing person should immediately contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Columbia Police Department at 573-874-7652.
