A fatal shooting Saturday night in Jefferson City. A call came in at 9:52 PM, and officers from the Jefferson City Police Department responded to the 3500 block of Missouri Blvd to investigate a disturbance. Prior to their arrival on scene, communications began receiving calls of shots being fired in the same area.

Arriving officers located a gunshot victim in the Old Navy parking lot suffering from multiple wounds. Several subjects were attempting life savings measures on the victim and EMS was requested to respond.

Officers took over the attempts to save the victim, which proved to be unsuccessful.
