Actor Christopher McDonald among actos in town as television crews for the show “The Fireball Run” arrived in Jefferson City last night. They hope to dodge rain drops and begin filming the new season of the show today in the Capitol.
The show typically showcases artifacts and lesser-known areas, and it also helps a great cause. The show helps locate missing children by assigning participating members in the show a missing child from their hometown. To date, “The Fireball Run” claims to have helped locate 50 missing children.
32 teams will be actively participating in Jefferson City.
Jefferson City will host a public send-off on Thursday in the 200 block of High Street as contestants make their way to their next city.
