Fulton PD Drug Arrest

A Wednesday traffic stop by the Fulton Police Department (FPD) has resulted in the arrest of 44-year old, Rebecca A. Williams, of St. Louis.

Williams was charged with Second-Degree Drug Trafficking and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, after police pulled over a black Ford F-150 that was observed to have no license plates, and the passenger threw a lit cigarette out of the window.

Police requested a vehicle search during the stop, to which the driver retorted, “I don’t have no problem with it, it’s not my truck,” according to a probable cause statement.

Officers located a pack of cigarettes on the back floorboard, containing six pills and a glass smoking pipe. The suspect initially claimed that she wasn’t sure about the cigarette pack, or its contents, but court documents show that she later stated the pills were hers and contained fentanyl.

Officers also found three loose capsules in William’s purse. FPD field tested the residue on the glass pipe and reported that it tested positive for methamphetamine.

Williams is currently booked into the Callaway County Jail on a $55,000 bond.
