Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Center inmate dies

A 67-year-old inmate at the Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Center died Wednesday of apparent natural causes, according to the Missouri Department of Corrections.

Randy Brown was pronounced dead at 2:31 p.m. at a hospital, the department said.

He had been received into the state’s custody on July 22 and was serving a 20-year sentence for first-degree sodomy or attempted sodomy out of Lawrence County, according to online court records.
