The Hart Career Center in Mexico held its first-ever E-sports signing yesterday (Tuesday). Mexico High School senior Briian Bynum signed to play at Moberly Area Community College.

MACC Coach Gideon Semones and HCC Coach Amy Harris supported Briian at the signing, along with a roomful of family and teammates.

Electronic sports, or esports, is organized, competitive video gaming. Students compete individually, or in teams across a variety of popular games, often in structured leagues or tournaments.

Briian will study education while continuing to game at the collegiate level. He is the son of Paige Bryan (Richard Williford) and Mikel Bynum.
