A 62-year-old Jefferson City man died late Friday night in a golf cart accident in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the man was traveling eastbound on a private property in Morgan County when the Club Car golf cart he was driving struck a rock. He was ejected from the cart, and it came to rest on top of him.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene by authorities.
