A Jefferson City man faces major drug charges after police say they found more than 90 grams of methamphetamine during a Tuesday afternoon arrest.
Detectives were conducting a narcotics investigation near Missouri Boulevard and Georgia Street when they saw 28-year-old Malik Gordon drive away from the scene.
Officers stopped his car on St. Mary’s Boulevard and said they discovered 90.2 grams of meth, 17 Alprazolam pills, and 8.4 grams of Psilocybin mushrooms inside.
Gordon is charged with second-degree drug trafficking and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
He’s currently being held without bond.
