A Cole County grand jury has indicted a Jefferson City man in connection with a fatal crash that happened on Halloween night.
Court documents show Jervontaye Warmack faces charges of second-degree involuntary manslaughter, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and driving while intoxicated.
Investigators say Warmack’s SUV collided with an electric scooter on U.S. 50 on October 31, killing 15-year-old Anthony Reyes, who was riding the scooter.
Warmack is scheduled to be arraigned at 9 a.m. on December 8.
