More than 900 Ameren Missouri customers in the southwest Jefferson City area lost power for several hours yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon.

According to Ameren, a third party hit an underground power line, causing the outage.

The utility’s outage map showed 945 customers without power in an outage that started at 1:38 p.m. According to the map, Power was restored by 3:15 p.m.
