A status hearing scheduled for today in Boone County Court, for 49-year-old Jennifer Johnson of Columbia.

She’s the woman accused of killing an 8-month-old baby she was babysitting back in 2021. She is also the woman who was accidentally released on parole last month by administrative error, and then picked up on June 26th in Arkansas.

Johnson is charged with second-degree felony murder and first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, resulting in the death of the child.

She is currently being held in the Boone County Jail.
