A sentencing hearing scheduled for 8am this morning in Boone County Court for 19-year-old Jeremiah Johnson of Columbia. He was found guilty of first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon in relation to a July 2024 non-fatal shooting on Lincoln Drive in Columbia.

The jury recommended imprisonment of 10-years for Count 1, 3 years on count 2 and one year on Count 3.
