Moberly Parks and Recreation has already seen a big community response to a park that has just been finished in the last few weeks. Kiwanis Park, on Sinnock Avenue in Moberly, was acquired in 2018, but between the grant process and then construction, it has just fully opened this summer

Moberly Parks and Recreation Director Troy Bock says it’s named for the Kiwanis because of the involvement they’ve had in the park being developed.

Bock adds that last year the driveway, parking lot and bathrooms were developed as well as a pavilion. A 9,000 square foot playground was added this summer and it’s been a big hit very quickly.
