A 64-year-old Columbia man has been charged with drug trafficking after being arrested Friday. Columbia Police Department’s Vice Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit executed a search warrant in the 1800 block of Holly Avenue.

What they found was a variety of drugs including 125 grams of meth, 6 alprazolam pills, 4 Oxycodone pills, 3 hydrocodone pills, and 6 buprenophine pills.

Terry Markward went to jail charged with Second Degree Trafficking Drugs and four counts of Possession of Controlled Substance.

Markward was being held in the Boone County Jail without bond.
