A 58-year-old Middletown man was killed Wednesday evening in a motorcycle crash on Route W in Audrain County, less than half a mile south of County Road 532.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash happened at 7:40 p.m. yesterday (Wednesday). The man was driving a 2015 Harley Davidson CVO Street Glide Special southbound when the motorcycle traveled off the right side of the road.

The motorcycle returned to the roadway and overturned, ejecting the driver. He was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene.
