Threats against schools continues to be an increasingly alarming issue across the country. Already this year multiple mid-Missouri schools have canceled classes due to perceived threats against the school.
The Moberly School District released an alert to parents yesterday of a written threat of violence against the school by a student. The threat happened on Wednesday, October 29, the last day the school had been in session
It was brought to the attention of school staff by other students, and district administrators quickly contacted the Moberly Police
Department and the Juvenile Office to assist in a full investigation.
Due to the help of Moberly students, the threat was isolated and handled quickly.
