Moberly High School Doles Out Awards

Moberly Senior High School held its annual Senior Awards Assembly on Wednesday, celebrating the achievements of the graduating class of 2025. The event recognized students for their academic excellence, leadership, and community involvement, with numerous scholarships and awards presented.

Including the A plus program, a total of $1.2 million in scholarship money was distributed to this year’s High School seniors as they prepare to continue in their post-secondary education.

Six students will graduate from Moberly Senior High School with associate degrees.

57 students from the graduating class of 2025, successfully utilized the A+ (plus) program to continue their education.

Among the honorees, Lexy Cooper received the prestigious Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship, acknowledging her outstanding academic performance. Additionally, Kalli Ames was awarded the Women Legislators of Missouri Scholarship and attended a reception at the Governor’s Mansion in Jefferson City.

Local scholarships, including the Orscheln Industries Foundation Scholarship distributed $16,000 to four students. the Moberly Rotary Club Scholarship, and the Tillotson Medical Scholarship, among others . These awards support students pursuing various fields such as healthcare, education, and fine arts.

In addition, Moberly Area Community College awarded over $33,000 to four selected students perusing two-year degrees and Moberly rotary gave $6k to 2 recipients.
