A serious accident on I-70 yesterday (Sunday) caused significant damage to the barrier wall near mile marker 134. MoDot crews reduced traffic to one lane in each direction due to damage, and are working today to make repairs and anticipate reopening all lanes by this evening.

Drivers traveling I-70 in this area should allow for extra time as backups are expected.
