Mizzou football is now #18 in the polls, after their 42-6 win over Massachusetts on Saturday.

In the NFL,
The Chiefs with a nice win yesterday, 37-20 over the Baltimore Ravens. Kansas City now 2-2 on the season, with the offense looking much better as some of KC’s key injured receivers are getting healthy.

In MLB
Kansas City wrapped up their season in Oakland with a win yesterday, a 9-2 route of the Athletics, to give the Royals a winning record, 82-80. Mike Yastrzemski hit two solo home runs, as Cole Ragans struck out eight in 4 1/3 innings Sunday.
Yastrzemski hit 17 homers on the year, including nine after being acquired by the Royals at the trade deadline.

St. Louis ended the season in Chicago where fans saw two teams headed different directions yesterday. The Cubs, headed to the playoffs, shutout St. Louis 2-0. The Cardinals, headed home for an organizational overhaul, lost their last four games of the year to finish 78-84.

With the end of the St. Louis Cardinals season, so to comes the end, long-awaited for many Cardinal fans, of the tenure of President of Baseball Operations John Mozeliak. He is scheduled to hold a press conference today and then incoming GM Chaim Bloom will hold his first press conference as the new president of baseball operations Tuesday.
