In Class 2 action, Eugene shutout Westran, 3-0. Scotland County got by Silex, 12-7.

Class 3 contests tonight Priory vs Macon and North Callaway and Fatima.

Cass 4 Sectional games tonight. Blair Oaks and Nevada. and the Class 4 Sectional matchup between Moberly and Father Tolton will be heard on Country 96 tonight. The Spartans 28-6 will host the game against the 20-6-1 Trailblazers. Pre-game is 4:55pm with first pitch set for 5pm.

In MLB, Kansas City fell to Cincinnati, 7-4. Nick Martinez was very good as he recorded the win for Cincy. He went seven innings, giving up 3 runs on six hits.

Former Cardinal Dylan Carlson led the Baltimore Orioles yesterday in a 5-2 win over his former team. Carlson went 2-4 with a three-run home run.
