Mizzou men’s basketball held on to beat #22 Florida Saturday night, 76-74. The Tigers opened SEC play by welcoming back three players that had been hurt for the first part of the season. Anthony Robinson led Mizzou with 19 points. Mark Mitchell added 14 and Jacob Crews chipped in 13 points.
The Lady Tigers weren’t as lucky as they dropped their Sunday game against #12 Kentucky, 74-52. Junior guard Grace Slaughter led Mizzou with 15 points, and senior forward Jordana Reisma added 10 points.
Mizzou football hosting as many as seven (7) players today as the transfer portaling season hits another gear.
On what many people think was the final game for Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs lost 14-12 to the Las Vegas Raiders. KC took the lead 12-11 with less than two minutes to go, only to see Vegas drive down and Daniel Carlson hit a 60-yard field goal to win the game with just seconds remaining.
