A 22-year-old Holts Summit man has been charged with 13 offenses, including Four counts of First-Degree Harassment, Four counts of Second-Degree Domestic Assault, Third-Degree Domestic Assault and Fourth-Degree Domestic Assault as well as Two counts of Tampering with a Victim in a Felony Prosecution and Patronization of Prostitution.
The investigation into Nathanial Kent Blackburn began in October 2025 after his phone was turned over to officials, when he left it in a Kansas hotel room. In verifying that the phone was Blackburn’s, employees noticed it was left open to searches regarding prostitution. The phone was also found to have evidence of a suspected sexual assault.
Investigators spoke with the suspect’s former employers and coworkers regarding his behaviors, who claimed that something about the man was “off,” “odd” and “concerning,” according to court documents.
Multiple witnesses also reported that he would often brag about having “rape porn” on his cellphone, some of which allegedly included him.
After the phone was submitted to deputies as evidence, officials discovered that Blackburn had prior convictions in North Dakota for person-to-person crimes.
Deputies reported finding multiple text threads and searches between Blackburn and suspected female prostitutes regarding their services.
Blackburn was booked into the Callaway County Jail today without bond.
