A 41-year-old New Franklin man was killed in an all-terrain vehicle accident Friday night in Howard County, according to a crash report from the Missouri Highway State Patrol.

The crash occurred around 10 p.m. near Route P, north of County Road 451, when the 2005 Arctic Cat ATV went off the right side of the road and ejected the driver, according to the report.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by the Howard County Coroner.

The driver did not have a helmet on, according to the report.
