A 19-year-old Novelty man is facing vehicular manslaughter charges after a Saturday night accident in Randolph County seriously injured a woman and killed her unborn child.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s online crash report, the crash occurred at 11:06pm on Highway 63, two miles south of Moberly.
The 19-year-old Novelty man, Hayden Wilson, allegedly drove a 2013 GMC Sierra eastbound from County Road 2610 across the highway into the path of a southbound 2015 Ford F150 driven by a 19-year-old Fairfield, Iowa man. His passenger, the 23-year-old Fairfield, Iowa woman was transported along with her male driver to University Hospital. He had moderate injuries.
Troopers arrested Wilson on charges of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of DWI with physical injury, and failure to yield.
