It’s Election Day across mid-Missouri, with voters in four counties heading to the polls.
In Boone County, Hallsville residents will decide whether to stay on a four-day school week and re-approve a 6.5 million dollar bond issue.
Cole County voters in Jefferson City will weigh in on extending the city’s 7 percent lodging tax on hotels and short-term rentals through 2060.
In Morgan County, ballots include proposed operating tax increases for the R-1 School District and State Fair Community College.
And in Howard County, Fayette voters will decide if the city should appoint a police chief instead of electing a city marshal.
Polls are open until 7 p.m.
