Ethanol production, stocks rise on week, year

U.S. ethanol production roared back last week. The U.S. Energy Information Administration says production averaged 1.112 million barrels per day, up 97,000 on the week and 79,000 on the year. Cash dairy prices were steady-to-lower Wednesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.  Dry whey was down $0.01 at $0.61.  No sales were recorded.  Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.04 at $1.86.
