Cash dairy prices were mostly lower Monday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Dry whey was unchanged from Wednesday’s pre-holiday close at $0.7325. No sales were recorded. Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.0275 at $1.4425. Nine sales were recorded, ranging from $1.4425 to $1.45. Cheese barrels were down $0.0625 at $1.52. No sales were recorded. Butter prices were down $0.0050 at $1.4450. Two sales were recorded at $1.44 and $1.4450. Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0025 at $1.14. Two sales were recorded at that price.
