Five new cases of HPAI confirmed in LaGrange and Elkhart Counties in Indiana

Cash dairy prices steady to lower Wednesday

Cash dairy prices were steady to lower Wednesday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.  Dry whey was unchanged at $0.7850.  No sales were recorded.  Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.0025 at $1.56.  Two sales were recorded at $1.5625.  Cheese barrels remnained unchanged at $1.6125.  No sales were recorded.  Butter prices were down $0.0450 at $1.48. Three sales were recorded, ranging from $1.48 to $1.50.  Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0175 at $1.1775.  Nine sales were recorded, ranging from $1.1725 to $1.1950.  The post Cash dairy prices steady to lower Wednesday appeared first on Brownfield Ag News.…Continue Reading

U.S. ethanol production and stocks rise as plant margins tighten
