Cash dairy prices mostly lower Thursday

Cash dairy prices were lower except for butter Thursday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.    Dry whey was down $0.0275 at $0.5625.  Six sales were recorded, ranging from $0.5625 to $0.58.  Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.01 at $1.6850. CONAB ups Brazil second crop corn projection

Brazil’s equivalent of the USDA has raised its second crop corn production estimate. CONAB now has that second corn crop at 104.538 million tons, up 3.5% from June 16% from 2024 thanks to higher acreage and better yields.
