Paris women charged in shooting

Starting to get more details on the role two Paris women played in that deadly shooting in Paris Sunday.

78-year-old Lois Armour, and 51-year-old Patty Armour, both of Paris, allegedly told deputies that 57-year-old Charles Armour was not home at the time they came looking for him, but invited the deputies in to search the residence. Armour was waiting in the master bathroom with a hand gun and opened fire on law enforcement.

The male Armour was killed in that shootout with deputies and state troopers. He had active warrants and was wanted for questioning in the shooting death of 55-year-old Jonathon J. Floyd of Perry was murdered near Monroe City early Sunday morning.

The deputy that was shot went underwent multiple surgeries, but is expected to make a full recovery, according to the sheriff’s office.

Both women are charged with Hindering the Prosecution Of a Felony and are jailed under a $100,000 Cash Only Bond.
