A familiar face in Mid-Missouri television is getting a big honor.

Longtime KOMU 8 personality Paul Pepper will be inducted into the Gold Circle Honor Society this weekend from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) at the Mid-America Emmy Awards.

The award recognizes his more than 50 years in broadcasting, including hosting “Pepper and Friends” from 1982 to 2009.
