A preliminary hearing that was rescheduled for two Paris women charged in connection with a deadly Monroe County shootout, is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. today

The state had requested additional time for evidence discovery in the case against 78-year-old Lois Armour, and 51-year-old Patty Armour, both charged with second-degree murder and hindering a felony prosecution.

Prosecutors allege the women helped conceal Charles Armour from law enforcement on the day he was involved in a fatal gunfire exchange with deputies.

Both women remain held without bond in the Randolph County Jail following their arrests.
