Former Mexico alum Ty Prince helped lead Missouri S&T to a Great Lakes Valley Championship this past weekend.

Prince went 2-for-4 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI in the 11-1 win over the University of Illinois – Springfield. The Miners made history in the win, becoming the first #7 seed to win the tourney.

They’ll open up play in the Division II National Tournament against Grand Valley State on Thursday.
