Redmon sentenced for parole violation

A man convicted of being part of cocaine selling ring in mid-Missouri in 2016, whose sentence was commuted by former President Joe Biden, was sentenced to 14 months in prison on today (Wednesday).

42-year-old Malcolm Redmon will go back to prison for a little more than a year after he broke his parole by having alcohol at a halfway house and failing to tell his parole officer he was traveling more than 50 miles outside of Jackson County.

Redmon was originally sentenced to 24 years in prison 9 years ago when he pled guilty to being involved in a cocaine-selling ring in Mid-Missouri.
