An Audrain County man has pleaded guilty to five child sex crime cases involving five separate victims dating back to 2007.

Prosecutors say all of the victims were minors at the time.

Forty-one-year-old William Dahl of Rush Hill has been under investigation since 2021.

in a News Release, Audrain County Prosecutor Jacob Shellabarger said Dahl “hid behind his family’s name and reputation” but will now face justice.

Dahl will be sentenced March 9 in Audrain County.

He’s already serving a 50-year federal sentence for child pornography convictions, and another five-year sentence from a 2025 case.
