Missouri Athletic Director Laird Veatch gave an update yesterday on progress on the state of the football stadium expansion and ticket sales or the upcoming season.

Construction crews have been working 24 hour shifts lately and starting today steel is going up in the northeast corner of Faurout Field, with work to continue even on game days, with work stopped once the gates are open.

Even with a sizable increase in ticket prices, Veatch said they’ve sold over 3,000 new season tickets, and he expects total season ticket sales to finish north of 40,000.
