City of Hallsville Employee Fired Due to Shocking Incident

A Hallsville city employee is fired after an incident reportedly put the safety of citizens, visitors, and children at risk.

Hallsville Mayor Logan Carter released a statement on Saturday stating he was informed of a situation involving a city employee that was shocking.

The mayor did not specifically state what the situation was.

Mayor Carter said the employee in question has been relieved of their duties, effective immediately.
