Mexico Man Leads MPSD on Foot Pursuit Early Thursday Morning
An early-morning foot pursuit in south-central Mexico lands a Mexico man behind bars.
According to Mexico Public Safety, they received reports of someone rummaging through vehicles in the 1100 block of South Western just before 6 this morning (Thursday).
Officers located 27 year Damon L. Johnson, Junior in the 1800 block of West Street.
Johnson ran from officers and was ultimately taken into custody at 6:19 a few blocks away.
Investigation showed Johnson had stolen property from at least two vehicles.
He is in the Audrain County Jail, charged with felony stealing (prior offender) and resisting arrest.
