The Missouri State Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation of a crash on I-70 on Wednesday morning that killed Boone County Fire Protection District Assistant Chief Bryant Gladney.
A tractor-trailer driven by 64 year old Kevin Brunson, hit the vehicle of Gladney, who was sitting in his car to direct traffic away from an earlier accident.
According to Missouri Highway Patrol spokesman Kyle Green, Brunson has not been arrested and the investigation will likely take months.
Green also said that it is too soon to know if criminal charges will be filed.
